I HAVE TO SEE TOMORROW.
The sun is
up
Lighting
every corner of this dungeon they call earth.
Lifting my
lids is not as adventurous as expected,
Images I
meet are no different from those I see when shut.
I breathe, I
suffocate
Then it strikes me!
Everything is limited, life even
But I have to live
I have to see tomorrow.
You Only Live Once
That’s what everyone is on.
I care not, even if it means drinking to survive.
Then count me in.
Yes, YOLO! This is just the beginning
I’ll smoke, choke in between puffs
Is that what they call weed?
Hand it to me please.
I have to learn, I have to live…
I have to see tomorrow.
Hear me stamp! Hear me roar!
Pay attention!
Either way you have to listen.
Thoughts of breaking off from this cocoon haunt me,
This pit of a lifestyle is no longer fit.
I was mistaken, I know.
I even talked of dying to live.
Pardon me,
But instead, I’ll live to live,
Love unconditionally.
I have to see tomorrow.
Live everyday like you’re going to be wiped out by a meteor
“ScienceYolo”
True, scientists too know of living in the moment.
Why not me?
I shall shine,
Brighter than the said diamond.
I’ll dance in the rain, swim in sand too.
I shall not allow any sorrow to linger.
I want to stop living in a box.
Four walls were never meant to contain me.
I’ll take chances, I’ll take risks.
And with soft tranquil beams,
This new me will calm even the most restless of souls.
‘Cause I have to see tomorrow.
So see you tomorrow!
